Oracle Legacy Oracle Cloud ERP ERP Financial ERP Namos Solutions 2020 2021
In 2020 the University of Greenwich began a cloud finance programme that led to the implementation of Oracle Cloud ERP and Oracle Cloud EPM, with go live achieved on 30 June 2022 in partnership with Namos Solutions. University of Greenwich implemented Oracle Cloud ERP as a core component of its ERP Financial strategy to centralise supplier, customer, and accounting data across its Greenwich, Avery Hill and Medway campuses. The deployment configured Oracle Cloud ERP and Oracle Cloud EPM to systemise finance and procurement processes, financial planning, and consolidated reporting. Functional coverage includes centralized financial ledgers, procurement workflows, planning and budgeting capabilities, and reporting and analytics to eliminate reliance on dozens of access databases and spreadsheet consolidations. Integration scope explicitly aligned the new Oracle Cloud ERP and EPM environment with the Oracle Cloud HCM estate that the university implemented in 2020, creating a single integrated cloud platform for managing financial, planning and human resources data. The implementation addressed a previously disjointed environment with multiple platforms and limited integration, establishing a unified data model for supplier, customer and accounting records. Governance and rollout followed a one team approach between Namos Solutions and university subject experts, with cross directorate and faculty engagement to drive adoption and operational change in Finance and Procurement. The university states that Oracle Cloud ERP will instil greater confidence and trust in its financial data, improve efficiency and transparency in financial reporting, and provide the foundation for insight and long term financial planning.

Oracle Legacy Oracle Cloud HCM Core HR HCM Namos Solutions 2019 2020
In 2019 the University of Greenwich began a program to adopt Oracle Cloud HCM as part of a Core HR modernization initiative across its three UK campuses. Oracle Cloud HCM is cited as the Core HR platform in the university program, establishing the foundation for centralised human capital records and workforce data management across faculties, directorates, and administrative services. The implementation focused on Core HR configuration and employee data consolidation to support organisational hierarchies, position management, and HR reporting. Configuration work emphasized standardised personnel records and workforce data hygiene to feed downstream financial and planning processes, consistent with typical Core HR capabilities for higher education organisations. Integration work explicitly linked Oracle Cloud HCM into a single integrated Oracle Cloud platform alongside Oracle Cloud ERP and Oracle Cloud EPM, with the latter two systems going live in June 2022 under a coordinated program. The integrated platform was implemented to unify financial, procurement, planning, and human resources data, enabling consolidated supplier, customer, and accounting reporting and reducing reliance on disparate spreadsheets and ad hoc databases. Namos Solutions served as the systems integrator and delivery partner for the cloud program, operating with a cross functional governance model described as a one team approach between the university and the integrator. Project governance included subject matter experts from finance, procurement, information services, and faculties, and the program is described as providing greater efficiency and transparency in financial data while supporting the university’s This is Our Time 2030 Strategy.
