| Microsoft | Legacy | Microsoft Dynamics NAV | ERP Financial | ERP Financial Management | n/a | 2015 | 2016 |
In 2015, Urban Ladder implemented Microsoft Dynamics NAV as its ERP Financial platform. The decision to deploy Microsoft Dynamics NAV in mid 2015 targeted warehouse and inventory management and core financial processes, driven by limitations in the incumbent cloud WMS Uniware that Urban Ladder had used since 2013. The team evaluated Microsoft Dynamics AX but selected Microsoft Dynamics NAV because its scope better matched Urban Ladder's SME profile and it enabled a faster path to production.
Urban Ladder hosted Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2013 on Amazon Web Services, diverging from the traditional physical server model and aligning the application with existing AWS test stacks and infrastructure. Core components implemented included the Dynamics NAV Service and Web Client, SQL Server Enterprise or Standard for the database tier, and Active Directory for centralized user management. Configuration work emphasized inventory and warehouse control capabilities, and extensibility to support APIs and custom business logic that Uniware lacked.
Operational coverage centered on warehouse operations, inventory management, and ERP Financial functions that support procurement and accounting workflows. Integrations remained within AWS hosted tiers and the Active Directory identity layer, enabling web client access and role based user controls across the company's operational footprint.
Governance and rollout prioritized a rapid production cutover, leveraging AWS hosting to reduce infrastructure provisioning time and to align test and production environments. The implementation approach focused on maintainability and API accessibility to allow ongoing customization and integration work.

The implementation was configured around standard Core HR functional modules including employee lifecycle management, onboarding and offboarding workflows, organization and position management, attendance and leave management, performance management, talent and succession planning, compensation administration, and embedded HR reporting and analytics. Darwinbox Core HR was provisioned to provide role based access and employee self service capabilities, and the configuration emphasized workflow automation for approvals and personnel changes consistent with a modern Core HR deployment.
Operational ownership centered on Urban Ladder HR and People Operations teams with the system governing core people data and approval chains across the companys India operations. Governance controls included centralized data stewardship, standardization of master data fields, role based access controls, and audit trails to enforce HR process consistency. The narrative reflects a category aligned Core HR deployment where Darwinbox Core HR functions as the central platform for HR administration and employee experience at Urban Ladder.

In 2012, Urban Ladder implemented Google Workspace (Formerly Google G-Suite) as its enterprise Collaboration platform. The deployment established Google Workspace as the primary cloud-hosted environment for corporate email, calendaring, and document collaboration across the organization, and the public website source references confirm active use of the Google Workspace suite by Urban Ladder.
Google Workspace (Formerly Google G-Suite) was configured to deliver core Collaboration capabilities including Gmail for corporate mail, Google Calendar for scheduling, Google Drive and Shared Drives for centralized document storage, and Google Docs, Sheets and Slides for real-time collaborative authoring. Administration was handled through the Google Workspace admin console to provision and manage accounts for roughly 800 employees, enforce basic access controls, and maintain domain-level settings for the Urban Ladder corporate domain.
Operational coverage focused on enterprise-wide adoption across Urban Ladder’s India operations, enabling business functions such as corporate communications, product design collaboration, supply chain coordination, and customer support to share content and schedules. Governance used Google Workspace native controls for group management and policy enforcement, and the implementation narrative centers on conventional cloud SaaS architecture where Google hosts core services and Urban Ladder manages identities and administrative policy through the Admin Console.
