In 2013 V-Guard selected and deployed SAP ERP ECC 6.0 as its new ERP Financial application, replacing a legacy system. The implementation was completed in a condensed six-month window and covered core modules including Sales & Distribution, Finance & Controlling, Material Management, Production Planning and Quality Management, indicating a broad operational scope across finance, distribution, procurement, production planning and quality processes.
CTL designed and built the supporting Data Center and delivered the IT infrastructure to sustain 24x7 operations, including structured cabling with a 10G fiber backbone in the corporate office installed to TIA standards. The project therefore combined a rapid SAP ECC functional rollout with a parallel infrastructure deployment to standardize and operationalize enterprise transactional and manufacturing workflows.

| SAP | Legacy | SAP HCM (HR) | Core HR | HCM | n/a | 2013 | 2013 |
In 2013, V-Guard implemented SAP HCM (HR) as part of a broader SAP ERP program, positioning SAP HCM (HR) in the Core HR category to unify Human Resources and Payroll with finance and costing. The deployment was delivered with IBM using the Ascendant Methodology and was explicitly framed to integrate HR processes into end to end business workflows.
The project used a two track rollout structure to manage schedule and operational risk. Track-1 comprised Sales and Distribution, Materials Management and Finance and went live on 1 February 2012, while Track-2 covered Controlling, Production Planning, Quality Management, Plant Maintenance, Customer Service, Human Capital Management, Business Intelligence and Business Objects and went live on 1 April 2012. The staggered go live created an interim operating window during which the company ran SAP alongside its existing ERP application to maintain continuity during peak sales season.
Architecturally the program harmonized disparate systems onto a centralized SAP ERP platform, consolidating Oracle, IFMAS and in house applications into a single SAP landscape. SAP HCM (HR) was implemented to provide integrated HR and payroll transaction flows that feed finance and costing, and the SAP environment enabled integrated, near real time visibility of manufacturing locations and depots along with operations and financials. Quality Management, Plant Maintenance and Customer Service workflows were instrumented within the same SAP backbone to support cross functional process orchestration.
Governance focused on a fast track delivery model with IBM preparing a condensed business case and a sub six month plan for the initial track, and the two track approach was explicitly chosen to reduce rollout risk during critical seasonal periods. Implementation controls included staged go live sequencing, alignment of business process SIPOC definitions across procurement, inventory planning, sales and finance, and BI and Business Optimization reporting to support management oversight.
Explicit outcomes cited by V-Guard included fully integrated business processes across SIPOC boundaries, improved visibility and analysis of actual costs, profit centre and segmental reporting for internal and statutory needs, and segmental and product level profitability analysis. The SAP HCM (HR) deployment in the Core HR category is described as integrated with key business processes and reporting layers through Business Intelligence and Business Objects to support performance analysis and management.

| VA Tech Ventures | Legacy | Happay Travel | Travel Management | ERP Services and Operations | n/a | 2017 | 2018 |
In 2017, V-Guard implemented Happay Travel to digitize corporate reimbursements and automate expense approvals across its India operations. The deployment targeted the finance process, using Happay Travel as the core Travel Management application to centralize travel and expense controls.
Configuration focused on travel and expense functionality common to Travel Management systems, notably expense reporting, automated approval workflows, policy enforcement and digital reimbursement processing. The implementation standardized approval hierarchies and policy checks to automate approvals and prevent out of policy claims, aligning expense submission, validation and reimbursement staging within Happay Travel.
Rollout covered V-Guard operations in India and was governed by finance process owners who enforced policy configuration and approval workflows during the rollout. Outcomes reported included a reduction in reimbursement cycle times from approximately 45 days to 5 days, policy violations falling to under 1 percent, and employee adoption reaching about 75 percent.
