In 2015 Vivint implemented SAP ERP ECC 6.0 to establish a consolidated ERP Financial environment for its finance organization, a program overseen by the Director, SAP Finance. The deployment aimed to centralize accounting and financial management functions under a single SAP ERP ECC 6.0 instance and to deliver consistent statutory and management reporting across the company.
The implementation configured core financial modules typical of the ERP Financial category, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, Bank Accounting and Controlling. Configuration work emphasized chart of accounts design, period end close sequencing, financial posting rules, and reconciliation automation, along with setup of statutory reporting structures and ledger management within SAP ERP ECC 6.0.
Operational scope covered corporate finance, accounting, treasury and tax workflows, with the project identifying ERP touch points for downstream operational systems and external reporting consumers. Role based authorization models and accounting role segregation were established to align SAP ERP ECC 6.0 transactions with internal control requirements.
Program governance was led from the finance organization with the Director, SAP Finance providing configuration approvals, change control and cutover sequencing. Training and process adoption focused on standardized accounting procedures and stabilized month end close workflows, with staged rollout and post go live stabilization activities to embed SAP ERP ECC 6.0 into ongoing financial operations.

Recruiters reported in-depth usage of Workday HCM as the HRIS, indicating configuration and role-based access for recruiting functions and compliance recordkeeping within the Core HR deployment.
