Priority Software Legacy Priority AccountEdge ERP Financial ERP Financial Management n/a 2019 2019
In 2019, Washington Workplace implemented Priority AccountEdge, an ERP Financial application. The deployment focused on supporting finance and sales operations at the 50-employee retail company, addressing high-volume sales order processing, planning, organization and supplies management. Priority AccountEdge was configured to manage core financial modules, with explicit use of accounts payable and accounts receivable functions and support for order to cash workflows and inventory controls consistent with retail operations. Internal staff became proficient in AccountEdge and maintained AP and AR in the system while processing customer orders and supplier invoices. The application operated alongside operational spreadsheets that documented venues, budgets, guest lists, catering and event timelines, allowing reconciliation between event budgets and ledger entries in Priority AccountEdge. Operational coverage included the sales team, finance accounting, marketing activities and event coordination, with Priority AccountEdge serving as the transactional accounting and order processing engine. Governance emphasized role based usage and on the job proficiency, formalizing accounts payable and accounts receivable workflows and centralizing order processing procedures for the high-volume sales team. Day to day responsibilities extended beyond finance to digital marketing and brand activities, while Priority AccountEdge remained the primary ERP Financial record for transactional and supply related data.
