Operational coverage was scoped to Wavin Technology and Information and the finance and facilities teams, aligning system controls with their product development and production-oriented processes. Separately, Assistance PSA for Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 was selected for professional services automation needs, a decision explained by Henk Olsman to address project and service management requirements alongside the SAP Business Suite financial backbone.
Governance emphasized finance-led configuration and standardized transaction controls, with rollout oriented around Wavin T&I business processes rather than broader commercial systems. In 2019, Wavin deployed AgilityCore, an Enterprise Asset Management application provided by SSG Insight. The implementation centralized plant-level maintenance planning for the Engineering function and explicitly covered the Maintenance and Toolroom teams for allocation of planned and reactive work.
AgilityCore was configured with a fault code taxonomy of over 200 codes, with prefiltering by work type to accelerate root cause identification and to route job types. The system manages planned maintenance scheduling, reactive job allocation, and visual priority boards, and AgilityCore is used to surface areas for improvement and to guide better use of proactive time.
The deployment integrated visually with the BARCO Plant Master Manufacturing Execution System, using the same colour coding on production cell screens and within AgilityCore to link any breakdown, repair, or form change work. That alignment provides Production and Engineering teams a shared operational view of activity across the site and a consistent status signal for incidents and work in progress.
Operational governance was adjusted so the Maintenance Planner, Paul Colley, allocates work across the two Engineering teams from a single system of record. At the start of each shift teams review AgilityCore priorities, colour coding enables quick identification of urgent items, and the unified view supports collaborative execution between Production and Engineering.
