The deployment targeted Case Management capabilities to centralize matter intake, task orchestration, document tracking, and compliance-oriented audit trails for legal and accounting workflows. CSS HD 2.0 Legal was configured to support standard Case Management modules including matter intake and assignment, workflow automation for review and escalation, document and evidence management, and audit logging for regulatory compliance. Configuration emphasized role-based workflows for internal audit and corporate accounting, and automation of recurring case tasks to standardize end-to-end processes. The implementation integrated with the firm finance and office productivity stack that had been in use, explicitly linking CSS HD 2.0 Legal with Great Plains and Microsoft Office driven processes to establish risk management procedures aligned with the COSO framework. Operational coverage included the Cleveland internal audit team, finance and collections functions such as Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, IT infrastructure and financial reporting, and coordination with a 45 person offshore team supporting daily case operations. Governance and process changes were formalized through monthly Audit Charter updates and weekly FTE tracking, with the system used to enforce standardized review cycles, training workflows, and documentation controls. Compliance workflows were mapped to Reg E, EFTA, Reg Z and PCI oversight requirements, and the solution was positioned as the firmwide Case Management hub for audit, collections, and corporate accounting activities. |
