Before the implementation each paper invoice was collected individually, coded by a project manager and entered into the accounting system by Josephson, and the AvidInvoice configuration shifted those tasks into an automated invoice capture and routing flow. The implementation included electronic payments through AvidPay to eliminate check writing and mailing, simplifying the payment lifecycle and confirming remittance without stapling checks to invoices. AvidInvoice was integrated with the company accounting system to enable straight through processing from invoice receipt to payment authorization, and the operational scope explicitly covered project management teams and back office AP functions. Governance was restructured to centralize invoice processing and reduce administrative burden on job site staff, moving coding and validation into the centralized AP workflow. The result documented in the implementation notes shows that AP Automation lowered overhead cost, sped up the payments process and allowed back office processes to continue running without taking time away from job sites.

The rollout emphasized operational alignment between candidate screening, onboarding paperwork, and downstream HR processes rather than broad technical replatforming.
