In 2019 Wizz Air deployed SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central as its Core HR application across the whole organization. The implementation established SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central as the central HR system for HR recordkeeping and transaction management, directly tying the Company, SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central, Core HR and HR operational functions together.
The rollout covered configuration of Employee and Manager Self Service Processes and position management configuration to support workforce structure and manager-led HR actions. Implementation activities included development of communication materials, management manuals and trainings to align people managers and HR users with new transactional workflows and self-service capabilities.
Workstreams included introduction and maintenance of KPI checkpoints and processes to improve HR data quality and timeliness, and testing, launching and follow-up of finished developments. The project maintained strong collaboration with the Digital IT Team to support HR and other departments on cross-functional automation initiatives and process improvement opportunities.
Operational governance established role-based support and ongoing business application support to professional users, with proactive system upgrades and maintenance to meet business expectations. The program emphasized process ownership, training-driven rollout and continuous follow-up rather than one-time cutover, ensuring SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central remained the authoritative Core HR platform for Wizz Air.
