| Oracle | Legacy | Oracle NetSuite ERP | ERP Financial | ERP | n/a | 2016 | 2016 |
In 2016, WorkWave implemented Oracle NetSuite ERP. The Oracle NetSuite ERP deployment focused on ERP Financial functions and addressed core finance workflows including Billing, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and FP&A to centralize transaction processing and financial reporting.
The Oracle NetSuite ERP configuration was led by a newly created cross functional centralized team that managed implementation, optimization and administration across multiple business units. Functional modules implemented included billing engines, AP invoice processing, AR collections workflows and FP&A reporting, with system automation and reporting capabilities built into each module to support project management and operational development.
Integrations were explicit and broad, with Oracle NetSuite ERP tied into Salesforce for Sales, Finance, Marketing, Services and Support workflows, and into Marketo for demand generation and lead management. The project exposed client subscription and product information in CRM through newly designed client asset records, implemented automated escalation rules for aging sales deals to keep pipelines accurate, launched lead scoring and marketing to sales funnel attribution, and absorbed multiple company acquisitions into corporate workflows that encompassed hardware, installed software and marketing agency services.
Governance and process changes were driven by the centralized team, which established company wide metrics and KPIs for Sales, Marketing, Finance and Support, provided FP&A data and reports for executive analysis, and launched a corporate intranet and employee engagement tool to house organizational information and project progression. Outcomes explicitly cited include speeding the sales process through escalation automation, increasing support responsiveness by exposing product data in CRM, and successful integration of acquired organizations into WorkWave SaaS oriented processes.
