Noetix was implemented as the reporting layer, and the role of Oracle Senior Business Analyst & Reporting Specialist was recruited to act as subject matter expert for the Oracle E-Business Suite and Noetix architecture, to lead module upgrades, set up changes, non regression testing and the introduction of new modules.
Operational coverage included the International Secretariat based in Vienna, designated Regional Reporting super users and programmatic partner offices that consume financial reports generated from the Oracle E-Business Suite data model. Reporting administration responsibilities explicitly required SQL and Visual Basic skills, maintenance of an online inventory of reports, prioritization of reporting requests with regional super users, and the allocation of production, documentation and testing tasks to ensure availability of financial reports to the Secretariat and POs.
Governance was formalised through coordination with the Financial System Steering Group and oversight by the Head, Group Accounting & Controlling, with the Oracle Senior Business Analyst & Reporting Specialist accountable for maintaining a cohesive, integrated ERP architecture. The role also covered training and support for regional super users, participation in cross functional projects, and project management of enhancements to the Oracle E-Business Suite to preserve cross module integrity and reporting continuity.
