TransPecos Banks | Banking and Financial Services | 108 | $12M | United States | Wolters Kluwer | ARTA Lending | Loan Management | 2013 | n/a |
In 2013 TransPecos Banks implemented ARTA Lending as the bank's primary loan processing and documentation platform. ARTA Lending was used directly by loan operations, underwriting, and compliance staff in the San Antonio, Texas office to manage consumer, commercial, and real estate lending workflows.
The implementation centered on configuration of document generation, condition list management, and disclosure processing, including three day disclosures for consumer real estate loans. ARTA Lending supported creation of consumer loan documents such as CD secured, unsecured, auto, and mortgage/home equity, and commercial loan documents for cattle, equipment, vehicle, and mortgage lending, as well as processing extensions and modifications.
Operational integrations were established between ARTA Lending and the bank's broader lending ecosystem, including CSI Myers Meridian, Baker Hill B2C and B2B platforms, Insurmark Online, Data Link Imaging, and E-Oscar, and the system was used to export loans to different program platforms. The ARTA Lending deployment covered loan intake through closing activities, with supporting workflows for title review, HUD fee verification, and handling of incoming e-disputes and written credit report disputes.
Governance and workflow responsibilities were embedded in a compliance review model led by loan review and compliance officers, who used ARTA Lending to create and enforce condition lists, review loan officer work for adherence to state and federal regulations including Reg B and FCRA, provide staff training, and respond to Federal Reserve, state, and auditor inquiries. The configuration emphasized auditability of disclosures and document sets, and operationalized cross-functional review between underwriting, servicing, and title closing teams.
