A2Dominion Group | Non Profit | 1000 | $556M | United Kingdom | FIS Global | FIS Integrated Payables | AP Automation | 2011 | n/a |
In 2011 A2Dominion Group implemented FIS Integrated Payables as a targeted AP Automation deployment to strengthen accounts payable controls and link payment workflows into the company finance and treasury operating model. The implementation was positioned to support treasury cash forecasting, monthly management accounts preparation, and routine accounting of intercompany transactions and loan and derivatives reporting across the finance and treasury functions.
FIS Integrated Payables was configured to provide core AP Automation capabilities including invoice capture and validation, approval workflow orchestration, vendor master controls, payment file generation, and payment reconciliation. Configuration work emphasized accounting rule definitions and mapping so that payables postings complemented existing management accounting practices and monthly MIS reporting processes.
The deployment included interfacing the AP Automation application with core accounting ledgers and the treasury cash forecasting process to ensure timely flow of payment and cash position data into management accounts and treasury reporting. Operational coverage focused on finance and treasury teams responsible for monthly rolling cash forecasts, management accounts, covenant monitoring, and loan portfolio reporting, with the AP Automation application feeding reconciliations and payment outputs into those processes.
Governance and process change centered on redesigning approval workflows, codifying accounting rules within the application, and building operational procedures for payment runs and supplier setup. Knowledge transfer and user enablement activities were led by treasury finance staff, and workflows were adjusted to align AP Automation controls with existing reporting cadences and treasury oversight practices.
