Amerit Fleet Solutions Automotive 1800 $300M United States Oracle Oracle PeopleSoft ITAM Hardware Asset Management (HAM),Software Asset Management (SAM),IT Asset Management (ITAM),SaaS Spend Management 2022 n/a In 2022 Amerit Fleet Solutions implemented Oracle PeopleSoft ITAM to centralize Hardware Asset Management (HAM),Software Asset Management (SAM),IT Asset Management (ITAM),SaaS Spend Management across procurement, inventory, billing and timekeeping functions. Oracle PeopleSoft ITAM was the core application for this program and served as the authoritative system for asset and procurement records during the rollout. The implementation included an upgrade of PeopleSoft in the Amazon Web Services platform and the configuration of new PeopleSoft modules, specifically Procurement & Inventory and Time & Labor. The program also encompassed an update to the Billing Module and the Cash App, which had not been refreshed in over seven years, and configuration work focused on procurement workflows, inventory reconciliation, asset lifecycle tracking, and time capture integration points. Integration architecture combined the AWS-hosted PeopleSoft environment with external customer systems using API-based connectivity on the Azure platform. Named integrations included Boeing, Amazon, Telsa, Target and other customer systems, with APIs orchestrated to exchange procurement, billing and fulfillment data between PeopleSoft and partner systems while maintaining PeopleSoft as the transactional hub for asset and billing records. Governance and rollout were managed through a formalized Project and Program Management Office established in April 2022, accompanied by a Change Management Policy and a Change Approval Board. The Director of PMO in Charlotte, North Carolina led the upgrade and module implementations, aligning cross-functional stakeholders in procurement, inventory, finance and operations to new workflows, deployment milestones and change controls.
CBRE Construction and Real Estate 140000 $35.8B United States Oracle Oracle PeopleSoft ITAM Hardware Asset Management (HAM),Software Asset Management (SAM),IT Asset Management (ITAM),SaaS Spend Management 2018 n/a In 2018, CBRE implemented Oracle PeopleSoft ITAM as part of a broader PeopleSoft Financials and SCM 9.2 program. The deployment targeted enterprise asset lifecycle controls and reporting aligned to Hardware Asset Management (HAM),Software Asset Management (SAM),IT Asset Management (ITAM),SaaS Spend Management and used PeopleSoft Financial/SCM 9.2 infrastructure and PeopleTools for configuration and extensibility. Oracle PeopleSoft ITAM was configured with Asset Management and Inventory capabilities integrated into the PeopleSoft Financials footprint, leveraging Application Engine, Component Interface, PeopleCode, SQR and Integration Broker for automation. Development work included Application Engine programs to detect duplicate assets and create new asset identifiers, mapping table population for asset reconciliation, and custom SQR worksheets for transfer and maintenance related to business unit splits. The implementation also adopted PeopleSoft 9.2 features such as Workcenters, Activity Guides, Tree Flattener, Fluid UI, Dashboards, Events and Push Notifications to streamline asset workflows and end user interaction. The ITAM implementation included explicit integrations with enterprise finance and ERP systems, using interfaces to ingest GL and transaction feeds from Oracle Applications EBS, SAP and iScala across APAC, EMEA, NAM and Global regions covering 39 countries. Teams developed interfaces to integrate Projects and Expenses activity for acquired GWS employees, integrated PeopleSoft treasury with JD Edwards for market rate and accounting line exchanges, and implemented payment interfaces to load bank reconciliation data into PeopleSoft Payables. Integration architecture relied on Integration Broker, Component Interface and bespoke ETL style programs to maintain data consistency between asset records and financial ledgers. Governance and operational rollout emphasized security and control, with a PeopleSoft security matrix, permission lists, roles and user profiles created and coordinated with system administrators to manage access. The program included retrofitting and migrating Application Designer objects from v9.1 to v9.2, Data Mover scripts for test data migrations, technical design documentation for modified objects, and coordinated unit and UAT testing with end users to validate business logic and interfaces. Ongoing support processes were established through process scheduler management and 24 by 7 escalation coverage for critical issues.
NYU Langone Health Non Profit 51000 $8.3B United States Oracle Oracle PeopleSoft ITAM Hardware Asset Management (HAM),Software Asset Management (SAM),IT Asset Management (ITAM),SaaS Spend Management 2017 n/a In 2017, NYU Langone Health implemented Oracle PeopleSoft ITAM to operationalize IT asset ordering, receiving, reconciliation and governance under Hardware Asset Management (HAM),Software Asset Management (SAM),IT Asset Management (ITAM),SaaS Spend Management. The deployment centered on the Oracle PeopleSoft ITAM application and targeted procurement, receiving, IT operations and service desk processes to improve capture of IT assets and ordering controls across the enterprise. The Oracle PeopleSoft ITAM configuration included order orchestration and approval routing, serial controlled inventory items that required capture of asset tag and serial number on receipt, and a purpose-built IT asset ordering page with logic to surface correct accessories. The team reengineered complex PeopleSoft approval flows by changing approval order, assigning alternate approvers and restricting financial edits after submission, and applied a GPO policy to ensure Altiris agent deployment on laptops, desktops and servers. Integrations were implemented end to end, including a nightly SQL feed from Altiris into PeopleSoft ITAM and a vendor ASN feed consumed nightly by PeopleSoft, with data mapping and QA testing to marry shipment records to network-discovered assets. PeopleSoft data was also exported via a nightly SQL feed into the enterprise CMDB to maintain a reconciled configuration view, and receiving scanner hardware was evaluated, tested and redeployed to support the new intake and tagging process. Governance and operational changes accompanied the technical rollout, with a policy requiring a purchase order for any package received at the loading dock and configuration changes to prevent external ordering for selected assets. A 3-month pilot demonstrated that every IT asset order placed through Oracle PeopleSoft ITAM could be tracked to a NYU location where previously about 30 percent could be traced, and service desk ownership reduced ticket volume from up to 50 a day to a few a week while the team resolved over 128 issues, produced user guides and ran ongoing stakeholder workshops.
