In 2012, NYU Langone Health implemented Oracle PeopleSoft ERP. Oracle PeopleSoft ERP was provisioned as an ERP Financial system to support core finance and procurement functions for NYU Medical Center and the broader finance organization within NYU Langone Health.
The implementation focused on standard ERP Financial modules, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, procurement, fixed asset accounting, and cash management. Configuration and extension work was handled through internal PeopleSoft application specialist and PeopleSoft Financial developer roles, which supported module configuration, reporting definitions, and transaction workflow automation specific to hospital and medical center financial operations.
Deployment followed a typical PeopleSoft application architecture with centralized application and database components supporting institutional access, role based security, and transaction audit controls. Operational coverage centered on finance, procurement, and accounting departments at NYU Medical Center, with governance enforced through change control and application ownership by in‑house PeopleSoft specialists who have maintained and evolved the environment since the period documented in the PeopleSoft application specialist role.

In 2017, NYU Langone Health implemented UKG Workforce Central Absence Manager (ex Kronos Workforce Absence Manager) as its Absence and Leave Management solution. The engagement covered implementation, upgradation, configuration and customization of the Workforce Central suite including Workforce Integration Manager and the broader Kronos module landscape.
The deployment included configuration of leave of absence processes, absence reasons, eligibility criteria, document management and leave rules aligned to HR practices, and the addition of attendance and accruals modules. NYU Langone maintained Kronos Workforce Central 6.1 timekeeping while leading upgrades from Kronos 7.0 to Kronos 8.13 cloud and to KRONOS WFC V8.0, and configured Workforce Scheduler components alongside Workforce Timekeeper and accrual profiles.
Integrations implemented and maintained included Workforce Integration Manager and the data flow between Workforce Data Management and Workforce Central, and data extracts and imports to the Virtual Edge recruiting system. The program validated end to end HR, payroll and benefits transactions through parallel testing and extensive scenarios for hire, job change, promote, transfer, terminate, compensation and global processes, while preserving interfaces to payroll and HR downstream systems.
Governance and rollout work included creation of the business case and project plan, documentation of existing processes reports and interfaces, scripted test scenarios for Employee Self Service and Manager Self Service workflows, and online training delivery via Adobe Connect. Operational responsibilities covered production support and advanced functional system analysis for Workforce Central, providing subject matter expertise across basic and advanced scheduling, timekeeping, payroll, human resources and analytics.
The UKG Workforce Central Absence Manager implementation supported HR operations by enabling standardized time tracking scheduling and absence management, and the project team provided ongoing functional and technical support including custom reporting and dashboards for HR visibility. The implementation emphasized system configuration best practices for Kronos timekeeping and maintained staffing readiness by ensuring schedules and time clock registration were managed during the rollout.
