Configuration emphasized data ingestion from spreadsheets and industry feeds, reconciliation of well attributes and production time series, and support for manual corrections performed by geological staff. Operational workflows show Peloton ProdView used alongside Geographix, BOLO, WellView, IHS, and PETRA, with shapefile import and export used for mapping and spreadsheets used to generate board presentation slides. Geology, land, and production functions relied on ProdView outputs to maintain cross sections, lease and well records, and to produce weekly production graphs for leadership review. Governance centered on designated data stewardship and routine reconciliation, with geology personnel and the land department managing source updates in Geographix and PETRA while cleaning the ProdView database after an acquisition. Peloton ProdView acted as the central Data Warehouse, linking field level collection, third party data feeds, and presentation level exports for operational and executive consumption.

The rollout of Peloton ProdView fed into a centralized Data Warehouse that consolidated production, well records, GIS, finance, and reserves data for the E&P company. The Enterprise Data Warehouse architecture aggregated datasets from enterprise applications including P2 Bolo, Peloton WellView/ProdView, Aries, ESRI ArcGIS, AFE Navigator, Landmark GeoGraphix, and DrillingInfo Transform. Peloton ProdView was configured to ingest production and well-level data streams and to serve production reporting and operational analytics alongside GIS feature services from ArcGIS. Infrastructure and integrations were managed as a cohesive stack, supporting a corporate data center with documented disaster recovery using VMWare and vRanger and hot site arrangements for business continuity. The environment supported the corporate office and two remote offices, with remote assistance for two drilling locations, and integrated with Citrix XenApp and NetScaler for local and remote application access and with Office 365 for email, SharePoint intranet, and directory synchronization. Governance was delivered through an IS&T organization that reported to the Chief Financial Officer and supervised a four person team, with formalized processes for help desk ticketing, software lifecycle management, and hardware and telecom procurement. The team implemented directory sync, SharePoint based intranet governance, and tested disaster recovery processes for the Data Warehouse and application stack, while administering an IS&T budget of approximately 1,000,000 USD. The program included successful rollouts of Office 365, Citrix XenApp, ArcGIS Server upgrades, AFE Navigator 7.0, and a P2 Bolo upgrade, and negotiated new contracts for security, wiring, and telecommunications to expand network and security coverage and reduce costs. Peloton ProdView in the Data Warehouse therefore operated within an integrated enterprise information architecture supporting IT, GIS, operations, and finance workflows.

The deployment was managed in-house with Systems Analyst coverage in Houston between August 2019 and March 2020, providing ongoing system administration, data configuration, and field user support across business units and remote sites. Peloton ProdView was operated alongside other Peloton applications including MasterView, WellView, and SiteView, and administrative responsibilities also covered P2 Merrick applications ProCount, Carte, ProArt, and eVin. Functional workstreams included production data ingestion, backend data validation via SQL, reporting data dumps, and scheduling of data flows and reporting tasks, reflecting Data Warehouse oriented workflows such as centralized data staging, data modeling, and report provisioning. The implementation integrated with both SQL Server and Oracle databases for data extraction and test validation, with SQL scripts and queries created for SSMS, SQL Plus, and Toad environments. Operational coverage included management and support for field users and multiple business units, and license management across a portfolio of more than 35 engineering, geology, and production applications. Governance and operational controls were enforced through standard system development life cycle and project management life cycle practices, with the Systems Analyst translating technical specifications into functional requirements and modifying test scenarios to reflect requirement changes. Day to day administration emphasized configuration management, data flow monitoring, scheduling, and application support across production, revenue, field data capture, and geophysical workflows.
