Coop Liguria | Retail | 2700 | $856M | Italy | Savoye | Savoye WMS | Warehouse Management | 2022 | n/a |
In 2022 Coop Liguria implemented Savoye WMS to equip a micro fulfillment center in its Bolzaneto warehouse near Genoa. The deployment targets the cooperative's ecommerce order preparation and fulfillment workflows to support home delivery, drive mode collection, and 24 hours a day automatic locker pickup options.
The implementation combined Savoye WMS with a compact storage and preparation solution and X-PTS shuttle controls used for the first time in a micro fulfillment configuration. Savoye WMS, as a Warehouse Management application, manages inventory buffering, storage allocation and pick sequencing for high turnover references in a goods to person configuration, with the explicit objective to increase productivity, reduce delivery times and optimize stock management.
Savoye's WES software is used to manage order buffering and synchronization of deliveries, operating alongside Savoye WMS to coordinate buffering, staging and outbound flows within the micro fulfillment cell. Operational scope includes both traditional store replenishment flows and direct ecommerce fulfillment from the Bolzaneto site, enabling the cooperative to handle mixed order profiles from the same footprint.
Rollout and operational governance are centered on the Bolzaneto warehouse, with the solution described as extremely compact to maximize warehouse space and to allow concurrent management of in store and ecommerce demand. The system was reported as becoming operational soon, and project stakeholders framed the investment as a response to changed customer purchasing habits and rising online volumes.

Forezia Snacking France | Distribution | 100 | $64M | France | Savoye | Savoye WMS | Warehouse Management | 2024 | n/a |
In 2024 Forezia Snacking France implemented Savoye WMS, using Savoye's ODATiO WMS suite, to modernize logistics for its fresh, dry, and frozen product lines in France following a July 2024 warehouse opening. The deployment is positioned within the Warehouse Management domain to coordinate temperature controlled inventory handling and order preparation workflows across the new facility.
Savoye WMS was configured to orchestrate automated order picking and to manage batch and slotting logic typical of Warehouse Management systems, with explicit support for order preparation sequencing and packaging station orchestration. The implementation narrative emphasizes configuration for multi temperature zones, lot and expiry tracking for fresh and frozen SKUs, and automated picking task generation to feed downstream packaging.
Integrations are focused on physical automation, the automated order picking solution, and JIVARO packaging machines, with the WMS acting as the control layer for task assignment and packaging work orders. Operational coverage is the single new warehouse in France, handling inbound receipt, putaway, zone specific storage, order preparation, and packaging flows for retail and distribution customers.
Installations were scheduled to be operational in spring 2025 following phased commissioning that begins after warehouse commissioning in July 2024, with system integration testing and staged rollout across storage and picking zones. The program targets an increase in preparation throughput, moving from approximately 50 to approximately 150 preparation lines per hour as part of the go live objectives.
