Governance and controls were embedded as part of the hosting implementation, with organization wide change and release processes extending to cloud providers, a complete review of IT security governance, and delivery of controls to meet PCI SAQ D attestation requirements. The infrastructure team owned disaster recovery planning, executed a Canada wide network refresh program, implemented MPLS connectivity, and managed the wide area network across national sites to align on continuity and resilience practices. A 24x7x365 response model was maintained for network and system incidents under the Telus Cloud Hosting arrangement. The Telus Cloud Hosting deployment supported core business functions including file and print services, networking, security, telephony, and desktop and mobile device management. Easyfinancial Telus Cloud Hosting Application Hosting and Computing Services directly underpinned IT operations and service delivery, with architecture, governance, and operational processes designed to coordinate internal teams and external cloud providers.
