Aerospacelab | Aerospace and Defense | 269 | $40M | Belgium | Odoo | Odoo Maintenance | Computerized Maintenance Management (CMMS) | 2025 | n/a | In 2025, Aerospacelab implemented Odoo Maintenance as part of its enterprise Odoo deployment hosted on Odoo.sh. The Odoo Maintenance rollout targets Computerized Maintenance Management (CMMS) capabilities to support equipment lifecycle, preventive maintenance, and reactive work order execution across Aerospacelab's factories and offices in Belgium, France, Switzerland and the United States. The implementation of Odoo Maintenance was executed within an existing, company-owned Odoo footprint that already included Accounting, Purchase, Approvals, Inventory, Manufacturing, CRM, Quality, Fleet, Project, Timesheets and Helpdesk modules. Configuration emphasized standard CMMS workflows such as asset and equipment registers, maintenance request intake, work order scheduling, maintenance checklists and maintenance activity time capture, aligned with category-standard computerized maintenance management processes. Odoo Maintenance was integrated with Inventory, Manufacturing, Quality, Fleet and Project modules to ensure parts availability, production maintenance coordination, quality traceability and maintenance costing visibility, leveraging shared master data and timesheet capture. The deployment scope encompassed more than 250 Odoo users and spanned cross-functional teams in operations, manufacturing, quality and facilities management, enabling maintenance tasks to be linked to projects, production orders and spare parts inventory. Governance and rollout followed an internal, phased approach driven by Aerospacelab’s in-house business analyst and developer team, using agile sprints and continuous internal documentation. Access permissions were defined team by team to balance security and usability, initial access was limited during foundational phases before extending to broader user groups, and iterative improvements were pushed regularly. The Odoo Maintenance application is now part of a centralized operational platform that Aerospacelab reports has improved workflow orchestration, product traceability, subcontracting coordination, quality management, helpdesk responsiveness and overall platform scalability.

Aerospacelab | Aerospace and Defense | 269 | $40M | Belgium | Odoo | Odoo Expenses | Expense Management | 2025 | n/a | In 2025 Aerospacelab implemented Odoo Expenses as part of its Odoo.sh-hosted suite to centralize expense management and formalize employee reimbursement workflows. Aerospacelab, a Belgium based satellite manufacturing and services company with offices in Europe and the United States, layered Odoo Expenses onto an existing multi-module Odoo footprint that already included Accounting, Purchase, Approvals, Inventory, Manufacturing, CRM, Time Off, Timesheets, Projects, Fleet, and CMS, aligning expense controls with broader operational systems. The Odoo Expenses deployment focused on standard Expense Management capabilities, including electronic expense submission, policy enforcement, approval routing, and auto-posting to accounting journals. Configuration emphasized integration points with Approvals for multi-level sign off, with accounting mappings to the Accounting module and linkage to Projects and Timesheets for cost allocation and project cost tracking. The implementation used modular configuration and incremental feature delivery, enabling quick user feedback cycles and iterative refinement of approval thresholds and expense categories. Operational coverage extended across Aerospacelab s international footprint, covering four branches and three factories in Europe and the United States, with the Expenses app configured to support cross-entity accounting flows and multi-currency considerations on Odoo.sh hosting. The Expenses module was integrated functionally with Purchase and Fleet workflows to capture supplier reimbursements and vehicle related costs, and with HR modules such as Time Off and Appraisals to centralize employee administrative records and reporting. Governance and rollout were managed by an internal business analyst and developer team using an agile approach, initial access was deliberately limited before extending the module company wide, and continuous internal documentation and training sessions supported adoption. Aerospacelab defined access permissions team by team to balance security and usability, and the company reported outcomes such as centralized operations, reduced training complexity, improved cross functional visibility, scalable process design, and streamlined employee administrative workflows after implementing Odoo Expenses for Expense Management.
