Eos Defence Systems Australia | Aerospace and Defense | 300 | $72M | Australia | Epicor | Epicor EAM | Enterprise Asset Management | 2018 | n/a | In 2018, Eos Defence Systems Australia implemented Epicor EAM to manage asset lifecycle and maintenance for its manufacturing operations producing Remote Weapon Systems. Epicor EAM was deployed to support the companys Enterprise Asset Management needs across production, engineering, procurement and maintenance functions. The Epicor EAM implementation focused on core Enterprise Asset Management capabilities including an asset registry, preventive maintenance scheduling, work order management, spare parts inventory control and maintenance planning workflows. Configuration work linked maintenance processes to methods of manufacturing and bill of materials data that are maintained in the companys Epicor ERP environment, aligning maintenance planning with production routings and procurement requirements. Integrations included a documented operational interface with Aras Innovator, which the organization uses to manage Engineering Change Orders and a Failure Log System, allowing ECO records and failure reports to feed asset configuration and maintenance history in Epicor EAM. The implementation also supplied weekly inputs for Production Performance, Capacity Load, Production Dashboards and earned value reporting, positioning Epicor EAM as a source of maintenance and availability data for production performance analytics. Governance and rollout targeted multiple manufacturing sites, with process ownership residing in engineering and production planning teams and operational ownership in maintenance and procurement. Workflows were adjusted to route engineering change information from Aras Innovator into maintenance planning in Epicor EAM, and maintenance scheduling was aligned with procurement lead times maintained in Epicor ERP. | |
