Eat Just (formarly Hampton Creek Foods) | Manufacturing | 350 | $40M | United States | Oracle | Oracle NetSuite Inventory Management | Inventory Management | 2020 | n/a | In 2020, Eat Just implemented Oracle NetSuite Inventory Management to support operations and inventory control functions. The implementation was guided by an operations supervisor who led a team of 52 employees through a shift to 24/7/365 operations and coordinated selection and rollout of NetSuite inventory software across production and warehouse operations. Oracle NetSuite Inventory Management was configured to deliver core Inventory Management capabilities, including inventory tracking, lot and batch control, cycle counting, warehouse transactions, receiving and picking workflows, and production material staging. Configurations emphasized accurate, on-time documentation of production levels and product quality to align inventory records with manufacturing throughput. Operational coverage extended across production, customer service, quality assurance, warehouse, and maintenance departments, with the system used to coordinate production schedules and to verify daily production documentation and payroll-related records. The deployment supported site-level coordination between quality checks, maintenance activities, and warehouse putaway and picking to maintain continuous manufacturing operations. Governance and rollout combined hands-on supervisor mentoring and training, structured performance reviews and corrective action processes, safety training, and operational procedures for inspection, setup, cleaning, maintenance, and equipment troubleshooting. These controls were embedded into daily workflows to sustain inventory accuracy, production reporting, and cross-functional coordination during the NetSuite Inventory Management rollout.

Eat Just (formarly Hampton Creek Foods) | Manufacturing | 350 | $40M | United States | Oracle | Oracle NetSuite Demand Planning | Demand Forecasting and Planning | 2020 | n/a | In 2020, Eat Just implemented Oracle NetSuite Demand Planning to operationalize its Demand Forecasting and Planning capability across core supply planning and manufacturing workflows. The deployment targeted demand planning, production scheduling, inventory controls, and bill of materials workstreams supporting product and R&D operations. Configuration focused on demand planning modules and structured S&OP workflows, with planners maintaining and adjusting the demand plan through regular S&OP cycles using the Oracle NetSuite Demand Planning application. The implementation included delivering Bill of Materials data into the planning model to support a more accurate cost of goods model and to align production timelines with forecasted demand. The solution operated alongside Excel and PowerBI for analytics and reporting, consolidating planning inputs and outputs in NetSuite for execution and visibility. Operational coverage bridged demand planning, production scheduling and R&D cross functional teams, and established tracking systems to manage production cycles and to prevent excess or obsolete inventory. Governance centered on a dedicated Demand Planning Manager who led S&OP meetings, cross functional reviews and the rollout of schedule control processes. The program emphasized process orchestration, BOM driven costing inputs and collaborative governance to embed Demand Forecasting and Planning practices into day to day operations.
