Boralex Utilities 250 $168M Canada SAP SAP ERP ECC 6.0 - Flexible Real Estate Management Real Estate Property Management 2016 n/a In 2016, Boralex implemented SAP ERP ECC 6.0 - Flexible Real Estate Management to consolidate property and lease accounting under a single SAP application. The deployment supported Real Estate Property Management alongside corporate finance and procurement functions for the Canada based utility with approximately 250 employees and reported revenue of 168000000. The implementation centered on SAP Flexible Real Estate Management RE-FX with core SAP modules FI CO, MM, SD, and PO configured to link lease accounting, invoicing, procurement and revenue recognition workflows. Configuration work emphasized contract and lease master data, rent and billing schedules, accounting integration points into FI CO, and procurement to pay flows that touch property operations and vendor invoicing. SAP add ons were integrated into the solution landscape, including xSuite xFlow for enhanced document capture and invoice workflow, VirtDB for data orchestration, Process Runner for scheduled automation tasks, and Symsoft as an additional SAP add on. These integrations extended the ERP to support automated document processing, scheduled batch operations, and data feeds between operational property records and financial ledgers. Operational governance included defined SAP roles and security configuration, and a cross functional rollout covering finance, real estate management and procurement teams. The project governance emphasized role based access controls and process orchestration to align lease management processes with SAP FI CO accounting and procure to pay procedures.
