| xSuite Group GmbH | Legacy | xSuite AP automation | AP Automation | ERP | n/a | 2016 | 2016 |
In 2016, Boralex deployed xSuite AP automation to centralize and accelerate its accounts payable operations, adopting the AP Automation application to drive process standardization across its finance organization. This implementation targeted the AP department and finance teams at the Canada based utilities company and positioned xSuite AP automation as the core AP Automation capability for invoice processing and workflow orchestration.
The deployment emphasized automated invoice capture, configurable approval workflows, exception handling, and operational dashboards to surface processing bottlenecks. xSuite AP automation was configured to enable one click completion for standard workflows and to provide analytics that make bottleneck identification part of routine AP operations, aligning functional modules to accounts payable processing and cash management oversight.
Operational scope focused on accounts payable and treasury adjacent functions, with the AP team and ERP expertise resources used to operationalize new workflows and controls. Governance incorporated role based approvals and centralized invoice routing to ensure consistent processing, while process owners used the application dashboards to monitor throughput and prioritize exceptions.
Outcomes reported by Boralex included dramatically reduced cycle times for routines that previously took weeks, one click completion of many AP tasks, and improved ability to identify bottlenecks and manage cash more efficiently. The implementation narrative positions xSuite AP automation as the enabler of faster AP processing, tighter workflow governance, and enhanced cash visibility for Boralex.

| Dayforce | Legacy | Ceridian Dayforce Benefits | Benefits Administration | HCM | n/a | 2017 | 2017 |
In 2017, Boralex implemented Ceridian Dayforce Benefits as its Benefits Administration platform to centralize employee benefits and payroll-adjacent workflows within the Talent and Culture, North America function. The deployment was positioned to support payroll and benefits as a foundational service for organizational growth, with the Senior Specialist, Payroll and Employee Benefits operating under the Senior Business Partner, Programs and Policies HR to oversee ongoing operations.
The Ceridian Dayforce Benefits implementation covered core benefits administration capabilities including benefits enrollment and eligibility maintenance, updating employee benefit data not managed by the payroll engine, auditing monthly group insurance invoices, and administering disability and injury case paperwork. The Senior Specialist also used the application to support full pay cycle activities by validating payroll data accuracy and contributing to end of month, quarter, and year processes across Canadian and US payroll runs.
Operational integration was explicitly tied to Ceridian Managed payroll outsourcing, with Boralex working directly with the Ceridian department to handle US tax case ownership and to coordinate Dayforce Ceridian implementation phases. Operational coverage referenced Quebec and Ontario Canadian payrolls and US payroll activities, and the implementation supported administrative tasks such as CNESST claim filing and onboarding related system updates at Boralex offices in Kingsey Falls and Montreal.
Governance and process changes emphasized centralizing payroll and benefits oversight within HR, configuring Dayforce to reflect business policies, and delivering user training and change management through system onboarding sessions. The program included ongoing configuration review, analysis of operational indicators and recommendations for system usage improvements, and hands on support for employee file changes and payroll related audits.

| IBM | Legacy | IBM Maximo | Enterprise Asset Management | ERP Services and Operations | n/a | 2016 | 2016 |
In 2016, Boralex implemented IBM Maximo to support Enterprise Asset Management across its Canadian wind operations. The initial deployment emphasized field service execution and asset maintenance workflows for utility-scale wind turbines, aligning work order capture with on-site technician activities.
The IBM Maximo implementation centered on work order management, preventive maintenance scheduling, an asset registry and service reporting capabilities. Technicians used IBM Maximo to complete service reports for specific jobs and tasks, and to record deficiencies found in turbines, reflecting typical Enterprise Asset Management functional workflows for maintenance planning, work execution and record keeping.
Operational coverage included the Tilbury, ON service delivery site where field teams perform scheduled maintenance, reactive repairs and a 24 hour 7 day per week on-call rotation. Field staff worked with SCADA systems to monitor turbine status while using IBM Maximo for job documentation, service report completion, organizing service vehicles and warehouse tasks, and capturing maintenance data from work performed in varying environmental conditions.
Governance and process changes were driven by field-level ownership of procedures, technicians authoring maintenance and repair procedures to simplify tasks and support training, and the transfer of Service Delivery to Boralex Tilbury in April 2018 which continued through the present. IBM Maximo served as the operational system of record for service reporting and deficiency tracking, supporting procedural documentation and field training alongside existing operational monitoring practices.
