The implementation of SAP ERP ECC 6.0 - Materials Management (MM) focused on standard MM capabilities including material master governance, purchasing and purchase order processing, goods movement and receipts, inventory posting and physical inventory procedures, and invoice verification processes. Configuration work emphasized role-based transaction authorization, master data validation rules and process-aligned document flows to enforce consistent material handling and stocking rules within the Inventory Management category. SOA People acted as the system integrator for the program and worked with internal SAP Key Users to configure and validate the environment. Operational coverage included procurement teams, warehouse operators and process owners across manufacturing and receiving, with the MM implementation designed to support daily stock transactions and inventory accuracy workflows for those business functions. Governance and rollout used an embedded SAP Key User model, with responsibilities defined for test script development, execution and escalation to Business Process Owners, plus creation of end-user work instructions and classroom and hands-on training in Dutch and English. The program emphasized ongoing ERP support and optimization, positioning SAP Key Users as the primary liaison between end users and Business Process Owners during post-go-live stabilization.
