The project ran concurrently with a payroll project, and the implementation team advanced through a rigid sequence of configuration, user acceptance and training activities, completing major milestones even as the organisation shifted to fully remote operations during the first Victorian COVID lockdown. The deployment configured Business Central as the organisation's core financial engine, applying category-aligned capabilities including general ledger, accounts payable and receivable workflows, bank reconciliation, budgeting and fixed asset tracking, with payroll processed through an integrated Payroll Easy solution and reporting provisioned via Jet Reports. Role based access controls and user segregation were applied to address prior excessive user permissions and to align responsibilities across the five person finance team, reducing the previous practice where individual users could access the entire accounting environment. Governance and process change emphasized end of month automation and reduction of manual reconciliation steps, with Jet Reports used to extract transactional data and drive automated formula based profit and loss reporting. Training, on order implementation sequencing and ready availability of EBS senior specialists supported adoption, and concurrent roll out of payroll reduced duplication from previous manual timesheet processes. Outcomes reported by HousingFirst include a smoother fortnightly payroll process using Payroll Easy, faster and more streamlined month end reporting through Jet Reports, and markedly reduced manual reconciliation effort for the finance team. The Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central ERP Financial deployment therefore centralized core finance and payroll functions to better support HousingFirst's expanding property portfolio and operational scale.

ArtisGroup executed the work in phased stages under the ArtisAccelerate methodology, with the first phase already delivering impactful results and Prowler Proof gearing up for the next phase toward full Business Central adoption. Operational scope centered on finance, procurement and shop floor costing within Prowler Proofs Australian operations, and governance activities included phased rollout planning, change control, and user enablement coordinated by ArtisGroup.
