The announcement from Reading, UK on July 07, 2023 described a program to simplify and integrate HR, Recruitment, Finance, Budgeting, and Procurement workflows for the firm’s more than 1,500 employees. Oracle Cloud HCM was configured to deliver employee facing capabilities including Employee Self Service and Manager Self Service, and to streamline dispersed HR processes by reducing resource intensive HR administration. The deployment emphasized standard Core HR capabilities and workflow automation consistent with cloud HCM practice to support personnel records, organizational management, and self service driven HR transactions. The HCM implementation was delivered alongside Oracle Cloud ERP, Oracle Planning and Budgeting Cloud Services PBCS, an Enterprise Performance Management EPM solution, and a Supply Chain Management SCM module to eliminate data silos and create a single source of truth for decision making. Integrations routed HR headcount and workforce data into finance budgeting and planning processes so the finance team can manage staff budgets and track real time data across planning and operational reporting. Mastek collaborated with Barnett Waddingham’s internal project team and Oracle, applying Mastek’s Value Based Analytics VBA framework to define key performance indicators and track measurable outcomes. Governance focused on cross functional coordination across HR, Finance, Procurement, and IT, with the consolidated Oracle Cloud Applications environment intended to support improved colleague capability, workforce productivity, operational performance, and unified planning and reporting.
