Kirklands Retail 4100 $468M United States Loftware Loftware Label Manager Label Management (Printing and Designing) 2015 n/a In 2015, Kirklands implemented Loftware Label Manager to centralize label printing and template design for Label Management (Printing and Designing) across its retail stores and distribution operations. The deployment positioned Loftware Label Manager as the enterprise label design and print management platform used to drive SKU level and store level labeling workflows. Loftware Label Manager was configured to provide centralized template management, variable data driven label printing, print server orchestration, and printer device management consistent with label management functionality. The implementation emphasized server side template control and role based access for label creation and updates, enabling standardized label formats and controlled changes to retail and fulfillment labels. The solution was integrated into Kirklands operational stack with direct data sourcing from SQL databases and operational coordination with WMS systems including HighJump and JDA, while operating alongside workforce and terminal systems such as Kronos and Georgia Softworks. Operational coverage included store floor and warehouse label production, with the Production support team responsible for day to day operations and support of Loftware Label Manager within the broader WMS environment. Governance was structured around the Production support team, which supervised template change control, print exception handling, and operational incident triage for labels and printers. Configuration and operational ownership emphasized centralized control of label templates and ongoing maintenance of integrations to inventory and fulfillment systems.
