University of Wisconsin Education 22365 $3.0B United States Visix Visix Digital Singage Digital Signage 2022 Forte In 2022, the University of Wisconsin implemented Visix Digital Signage using the Visix AxisTV cloud based digital signage network at the Wisconsin Union at UW Madison. The deployment provisioned 41 screens across 15 channels to centralize campus communications, event schedules, wayfinding and room signage across high traffic buildings in the United States. The Visix Digital Signage implementation used AxisTV as the centralized content management and channel scheduling platform, configured for channel management, playlist orchestration, room signage templates and event schedule publishing. The configuration emphasized automated content delivery and scheduled playback to keep event notices and directional signage current across multiple display zones. Visix integrated EMS, RSS and other data feeds to automate content ingestion and drive event awareness, and AVI Systems provided consulting support on the implementation. Forte is recorded as the SI VAR associated with the project, and the operational scope centered on the Wisconsin Union and high traffic campus buildings across the United States. Governance moved toward centralized content management with channel ownership and scheduled publishing workflows to reduce manual updates and improve consistency. The implementation improved visitor navigation and event awareness by automating data feeds into the Visix AxisTV network and consolidating signage operations under the Visix Digital Signage platform.
