Process governance used a structured three step workflow, prequalification by eRFx, competitive eAuction, and a final face to face negotiation with the shortlisted suppliers, which standardized supplier selection and information retention. Reporting and event statistics provided visibility into supplier participation and auction dynamics, enabling faster decision cycles. Results explicitly reported by Grundfos included time savings, completing a sourcing cycle in three weeks instead of three months, large savings against current prices, and a centralized repository for supplier information. The implementation of Unit4 Scanmarket (formerly Symfact) in 2024 delivered a repeatable sourcing pattern that preserved qualitative evaluation and price transparency within the Contract Lifecycle Management,Sourcing domain.
