MM Electrical Merchandising Distribution 3000 $450M Australia ConnX ConnX Time and Attendance Time and Attendance 2016 n/a In 2016, MM Electrical Merchandising implemented ConnX Time and Attendance, a Time and Attendance application, to support centralized payroll and workforce attendance capture. The deployment was positioned to feed attendance and leave data into existing payroll operations and to standardize timekeeping across the organization. The ConnX Time and Attendance implementation covered core Time and Attendance capabilities, including time capture and timesheet processing, leave accrual reporting for Annual Leave and Long Service Leave, and management of new starter and termination records. Functional workflows documented for payroll staff included fortnightly time reconciliation, accrual reporting, and exception handling used by the payroll team. Operationally the system was used within the North Rocks NSW payroll operation and contributed to the fortnightly Micropay Meridian payroll production, indicating a data integration flow between ConnX Time and Attendance and Micropay Meridian payroll processing. Day to day operations were executed by a team of five Payroll Officers responsible for payroll over 2000 employees, with monthly reporting provided to the Financial Controller. Governance and process changes centered on formalizing monthly payroll and accrual reporting procedures, capturing starter and termination events in ConnX Time and Attendance, and embedding attendance data into payroll runs. The configuration emphasis was on reliable time data feeds, leave accrual calculations, and operational controls to support distributed payroll execution.
