The program pairs SAP S/4HANA ERP with the SAP Customer Relationship Management and Billing for Utilities package to address customer account and billing complexity across the company. Infosys and SAP Services will co-design configuration and roadmap activities, and provide early visibility into future product releases to align billing rules and flexibility with utility consumption patterns. The rollout is scoped to Essential Utilities operations that serve five million customers across 10 states under the Aqua and Peoples brands, consolidating customer and billing data from multiple siloed sources. The architecture objective is to unify transactional and master data to support customer care, billing operations, and ERP-backed finance and operational processes. Governance is structured as a joint delivery and co-design engagement between Essential Utilities, Infosys, and SAP Services and Support, with Infosys positioned as the digital transformation partner to redefine user experience and enhance knowledge and operations assets.
