Australian Financial Complaints Authority Non Profit 1369 $117M Australia ReadyTech ReadyTech HR3 Core HR 2021 n/a In 2021, Australian Financial Complaints Authority implemented ReadyTech HR3 as its Core HR solution to support a consolidated HR and payroll program. The initiative was led from Melbourne with an HRIS Implementation Lead reporting to the Head of People Operations and Governance and positioned within People & Culture to drive functional delivery and user experience alignment. The implementation scope focused on Core HR capabilities, including extraction, cleaning and transformation of workforce data, data modeling and migration, configuration of employee records and position structures, and establishment of user acceptance testing cycles. Functional development work included defining and documenting functional requirements, configuring HR3 workflows for core HR processes, and recommending automations to streamline transactional tasks and scale standard operating procedures. Operational integration emphasized close partnerships with IT, Payroll, Change Management, Project and Training teams, plus external vendors to coordinate cutover and training activities. The deployment covered People & Culture and payroll operations across AFCA, with readiness activities such as design workshops, data administration handoffs and end user training to enable system adoption by HR practitioners and payroll administrators. Governance and process changes were formalized through allocation and prioritization of work for HR subject matter experts, ownership of data governance and migration activities, and structured UAT and continuous improvement practices. The project charter centered on ensuring ReadyTech HR3 configuration and operational practices aligned with AFCA business needs, technical priorities and expected user experience outcomes.
