Easyship automation technology and its global courier network were used to orchestrate carrier selection and to surface delivered cost and tax estimates at the item level, aligning shipping decisioning with order processing and customer checkout flows. The implementation included integration of the Easyship app with Biaggi’s ecommerce platform, enabling per item shipping cost calculation and checkout transparency that supported international orders. Operational coverage expanded to multiple markets worldwide, shifting responsibilities for rate shopping and customs calculations from manual work to an automated Shipping Management workflow and changing day to day logistics tasks for customer fulfillment teams. Rollout was executed as a cloud based onboarding using Easyship’s platform, with setup in minutes and an invoicing model of only pay for what you ship, which simplified governance for a small retail organization. As stated by Biaggi, Easyship enabled global expansion while reducing shipping costs, the company increased revenue by 20 percent and achieved first year shipping savings of one hundred thousand dollars.
