Delivery governance emphasized testing and change control, with process testing, regression testing and user acceptance testing led by functional consultants and results presented to the Change Board. Architecturally the project prioritized a flexible Microsoft Dynamics AX platform with components purpose built to work together, enabling centralized transactional processing and near real time visibility across stores, inventory and finance. The solution was scoped to support procurement from local and international vendors, store level inventory and replenishment workflows, centralized financial ledgers, and HR record management, consolidating previously dispersed retail data into a single system of record. Governance and process workstreams accompanied the technical rollout with an explicit focus on standardizing and streamlining business processes and facilitating change management. Duty Free Philippines and Hitachi Solutions structured the program around adopting global best practices and industry standards in retail ERP, with expectations to simplify multi platform operations and improve day to day operations through an integrated Microsoft Dynamics AX implementation. | |
