Albert Bartlett | Consumer Packaged Goods | 1277 | $399M | United Kingdom | Optimum Solutions | Optimum HRIS | Core HR | 2015 | n/a | In 2015, Albert Bartlett implemented Optimum HRIS as its Core HR application to centralize timekeeping and personnel record administration. The deployment targeted payroll and HR operational processes across multiple company sites, including Coatbridge and Airdrie, and positioned Optimum HRIS as the primary system for time and attendance operations. Optimum HRIS was configured to support the time and attendance module and core personnel data management, with operational tasks including payslip issuance, statutory payment processing such as SSP, SMP and SPP, and payroll deduction handling. The implementation emphasized administrative controls for payroll data, routine report generation for staff and managers, and support for bacs and cheque payment workflows. The environment shows Optimum HRIS operating alongside the Resource Link payroll system, with staff administering Resource Link while maintaining Optimum time capture and payroll input processes. Operational coverage included payroll, HR administration, and finance support teams, with daily timekeeping and payroll processing activities spanning multiple sites within the business. Governance and process changes focused on confidentiality and data protection, with procedures to prioritize payroll and personnel record confidentiality and adherence to the Data Protection Act. Operational responsibilities documented in role tasks included maintaining filing systems, producing meeting minutes, answering telephone inquiries when reception was unavailable, and providing ongoing administrative support to the finance and admin teams.

Amnesty International | Non Profit | 320 | $121M | United Kingdom | Microsoft | Microsoft Dynamics 365 Human Resources | Core HR | 2021 | n/a | In 2021, Amnesty International deployed Microsoft Dynamics 365 Human Resources as part of a broader ERP program that also included Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Supply Chain Management, with the implementation aligned to the Core HR category. The deployment was led from the London IT organisation by an IT Business Systems Functional Lead who guided the D365 implementation project team through the deployment phase and the initial post go-live roadmap. The Microsoft Dynamics 365 Human Resources implementation focused on Core HR capabilities including centralized employee record management, position and organization management, absence and leave workflows, and embedded HR business process automation and approvals. The functional lead role drove the functional implementation road-map, configured HR workflows to meet agreed architectural designs, and translated operational requirements into the system configuration and feature backlog. Integration work was scoped to connect Microsoft Dynamics 365 Human Resources with the companion Dynamics 365 Finance and Supply Chain Management solution and with other business systems for Amnesty International International Secretariat as required. Delivery of integrations and solution components was executed through collaboration with a system integrator and third party partners, following agreed designs and handoff processes to capture issues in the as-built environment. Governance relied on an architectural approval process, formalised functional sign off, and staged rollout planning to ensure the technology landscape remained scalable for future feature development. The programme emphasised capturing in-life requirements, maintaining implementation road-map fidelity, and ensuring the Human Resources solution could support ongoing additions of functionality for Information and Technology, Operations and Administrations, and Sustainable Business Development teams.
