The deployment centralized corporate responsibility for managing the organization’s global cash position, corporate funding, global investments, FX trade activity, and executive reporting within the finance and treasury function. Serrala FinanceSuite Treasury was configured to standardize a global cash liquidity tool used to analyze and forecast cash flow worldwide, and to provide centralized cash position visibility and treasury reporting. Core functional capabilities implemented included liquidity forecasting, centralized cash position and cash pooling workflows, investment management and trade capture for FX and capital markets instruments, and standardized executive reporting for treasury leadership. The implementation included integration work to connect the treasury solution with the HanseOrga treasury operations management tool and with SAP for operational treasury recordkeeping and process orchestration. Those integrations supported trade lifecycle activities for FX hedging, interest rate products, commodity analysis and other derivatives, and enabled consolidated reporting across treasury operations and SAP financial ledgers. Governance and process restructuring accompanied the technical rollout, with standardized forecasting processes, centralized investment governance to pursue higher yields and reduce bank and other fees, and role based controls for trade approval and reporting. The deployment positioned Serrala FinanceSuite Treasury as the operational hub for Burger King’s global Treasury Management activities and for supporting capital markets workflows across the corporate treasury organization.
