The operational model positioned SkySparc as the primary support owner for the Treasury Management environment, with SkySparc liaising with Aktia internal IT and interacting directly with vendor ION Investment Group to coordinate fixes and enhancements. Coverage included treasury and Middle Office functions across the group and the newly integrated insurance entities, with monthly Expert Center time allocated for both incident response and continuous improvements. Governance and process changes included formalizing monitoring standards and communicating hardware, firewall and mail server configuration requirements to internal IT to support the automated surveillance solution. Aktia reports that the SkySparc Expert Center arrangement reduced support costs by approximately 50 percent compared with an in house support option, while delivering proactive detection and a roadmap for ongoing operational improvements.
