LG Electronics Manufacturing 82000 $65.0B South Korea Oracle Oracle Order Management Order Management 2019 LG CNS In 2019, LG Electronics implemented Oracle Order Management as part of a single global instance of Oracle E-Business Suite R12. The deployment addressed a previously distributed ERP footprint that spanned dozens of subsidiaries and regional offices, and it was executed with LG CNS as the systems integrator to centralize order orchestration for a global manufacturing and consumer electronics business with 82,000 employees and operations across 39 countries. The Oracle Order Management deployment was configured within the Oracle E-Business Suite R12 platform and aligned with related Oracle modules named in the program, including Oracle Financials, Oracle Cash Management, Oracle Financial Analyzer, Oracle Assets, and Oracle Supply Chain Management. Functional capabilities emphasized by the implementation include global order-to-cash processing, consolidated inventory visibility, standardized sales cost analysis, and centralized account closing workflows, implemented through common master data and standardized configuration patterns consistent with Order Management practices. Integrations were explicitly organized around Oracle E-Business Suite components, linking Oracle Order Management to finance and supply chain modules to enable transactional flow between sales orders, inventory commitments, and financial postings. The single-instance architecture centralized operational data from production and marketing subsidiaries and in-house ERP instances, enabling a unified order management surface for sales, finance, and supply chain teams across LG Electronics. Governance and rollout focused on global standardization of configurations, centralized master data control, and coordinated change management led by LG Electronics with implementation services from LG CNS and product support from Oracle. The program established a single global instance of Oracle E-Business Suite R12 to resolve prior cross-subsidiary visibility and data consistency challenges and to centralize Order Management as a corporate business function, without quantifying specific post-deployment metrics.
