Herschend Family Entertainment Media 10000 $1.0B United States Pronto Software Pronto Xi Supply Chain Supply Chain Management 2020 n/a In 2020, Herschend Family Entertainment implemented Pronto Xi Supply Chain as the core Supply Chain Management solution to unify inventory, retail and warehouse operations across 23 locations in six states and over 100 retail outlets that handle up to 24,000 guest transactions per day. The deployment targeted Supply Chain Management needs for purchasing, warehousing, retail point of sale and finance to deliver timely operational data across the group of properties. The implementation centered on Pronto Xi Supply Chain modules including the Pronto Xi Warehousing Management System and Pronto Xi Business Intelligence, combined with integrated POS and inventory capabilities from the same vendor. Configuration emphasized standardized data rules and consistent master data across properties, bulk user provisioning and terminal level permission filters, and an intuitive interface that reduced onboarding time for seasonal staff. Operational integration connected POS terminals to warehouse workflows, enabling item tracking from point of sale through inventory replenishment and scanner guided picking in the warehouse. Functional coverage extended to purchasing, retail operations, warehouse fulfillment and finance, with purchasing teams using historical sales data from Pronto Xi Business Intelligence to inform reorder decisions for each venue. Governance and process changes included company wide rules for transaction and product consistency, permissioning by user ID and terminal to reduce errors, and automated, consolidated reporting to give senior finance and site leaders faster visibility. Outcomes reported by HFE included faster identification and propagation of top selling items across properties, reduced time spent locating stock by warehouse staff through barcode scanning, fewer paper based processes, improved price negotiation visibility and lower markdown frequency driven by improved sales visibility.
