Banco Multiva Banking and Financial Services 1000 $150M Mexico Google Google BigQuery Data Warehouse 2021 n/a In 2021 Banco Multiva implemented Google BigQuery as a centralized Data Warehouse within a GCP-centered microservices and DevOps program in Mexico. The engagement covered 2021 to 2022 under a Microservices and DevOps Architect scope and prioritized cloud native API design and consolidated information management. Google BigQuery was used for information management alongside microservices built with Quarkus and Cloud Functions, and secure APIs were designed and implemented with single sign on to support bank applications. The implementation emphasized schema and dataset organization in BigQuery to support analytical queries and data consolidation from transactional and operational services. Operational integrations included Datastore, SQL Server, and MongoDB as source stores, with containerization and orchestration on Docker, Kubernetes, and Openshift within GCP. Application server and framework support spanned EAP, Jetty, WebLogic, Wildfly, WebSphere Liberty, Spring, Spring Boot, Camel, Quarkus, and Micronaut, aligning runtime components with the Google BigQuery data layer. Infrastructure and deployment were automated with Terraform and Ansible, and CI/CD pipelines and quality tooling were instrumented using Git, Maven, SonarQube, JaCoCo, JUnit, Cucumber, Selenium, Nexus, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK. Governance included API security with SSO and pipeline driven deployment and observability practices to standardize releases and monitoring across banking applications.
