Hantover Distribution 170 $45M United States Epicor Epicor Prophet 21 WMS Warehouse Management 2017 n/a In 2017 Hantover deployed Epicor Prophet 21 WMS to rationalize warehouse operations at its Fayetteville, Arkansas facility, establishing a formal Warehouse Management capability tied to its core distribution activities. The implementation centered on operational control for a roughly 60,000 square foot warehouse, with ongoing staffing practices that included recruiting 4 to 5 temporary workers monthly and maintaining two full time warehouse employees to support shipping, receiving and inventory workflows. Configuration work focused on standard Warehouse Management functions including inventory control and cycle counting, inbound receiving, outbound shipping and material movement tracking. Hantover used Epicor Prophet 21 WMS to record and report inventory and cycle counts alongside ERP records, and configured process controls for transportation cost standards, proactive equipment inspection schedules and warehouse layout planning to accommodate new equipment and improve space utilization. The project integrated operational vendor management and shipment documentation processes, preserving strong vendor connections for delivery coordination and paperwork handling. Epicor Prophet 21 WMS operated as the transactional system for warehouse, shipping and inventory control, while inventory and audit data were reconciled with ERP reporting to support daily logs, profit and loss statements and expense reporting for warehouse management. Operational governance was enforced through formal cycle count procedures and periodic audits, with inventory audits performed to company AA rating standards and documented as 100 percent accuracy when reported. Process changes included redesigning warehouse layout to maximize throughput and instituting maintenance and inspection cadence, while day to day shipping and receiving, returns and transfer processes were standardized under the Epicor Prophet 21 WMS driven workflows.
