AstraZeneca Sweden | Life Sciences | 8000 | $1.7B | Sweden | Vizibl | Vizibl SRM | Supplier Relationship Management | 2016 | n/a | In 2016 AstraZeneca Sweden deployed Vizibl SRM to establish an enterprise Supplier Relationship Management capability focused on supplier collaboration and innovation. The Vizibl SRM deployment was instituted under Global Procurement COE leadership to codify supplier engagement workflows and to provide a platform for strategic supplier ideation and structured feedback. Configuration and functional scope centered on supplier collaboration, innovation scouting and ideation workflows, structured Voice of Supplier feedback, and relational development capabilities aligned to an SRM 2.0 model. The company used Vizibl SRM to operationalize a Supplier Collaboration & Innovation strategy, running a strategic global pilot in 2018 and launching the program enterprise wide in 2019, and to capture over 50 supplier innovation and broader value opportunities as part of ongoing supplier engagement. Technical and operational integration included alignment with AstraZeneca’s Source-to-Contract program, where Vizibl SRM was integrated into S2C process requirements during the 2019 S2C technology program that switched procurement tooling to Jaggaer. Operational coverage extended to a coordinated Operational Supplier Management Team implemented in Warsaw in 2017, and targeted enterprise supplier initiatives such as a Voice of Supplier program covering the top 50 relationships representing $3.5Bn of annual spend, and a Top 30 supplier deep dive covering $2.5Bn of spend. Governance and process transformation activities accompanied the rollout, including design of SRM 2.0 in H2 2017 to shift effort from risk and performance firefighting to relational development and improvement delivery, establishment of 360 degree supplier feedback baselines from the VOS program, and participation in industry forums to capture cross‑industry SRM practices. The organization also contributed to product design as an early customer advisor to Vizibl, shaping solution capabilities to meet corporate level supplier engagement and governance requirements. | |
