Mindsprint | Professional Services | 1600 | $500M | India | SAS Institute | SAS Business Intelligence | Analytics and BI | 2018 | n/a | In 2018 Mindsprint implemented SAS Business Intelligence to centralize and standardize performance reporting for the Global Operations Leadership team. The SAS Business Intelligence deployment addressed Analytics and BI requirements for facility level performance management, monthly governance reviews and onboarding of new business units, strategic business units and plants. Configuration work focused on enterprise grade performance dashboards, validation workflows and templated data collection. Implemented dashboard components included measure definition catalogs, data calibration routines, control checks and an access control matrix to govern dashboard visibility and editing rights. The implementation emphasized data validation, documented standard ways of working and template-based data interfacing so reported measures aligned with governance definitions. The program integrated with Mindsprint technology teams and SAP data feeds, working with SAP and BI teams to update source mappings and make iterative design changes to dashboards. Operational coverage extended to facility teams and central operations, with Chennai cited as a staffed location for performance management specialists, and processes designed to onboard additional BUs, SBUs and plant sites into the reporting model. Governance and workflow changes were formalized through a governance committee cadence, heads-up communications before monthly reviews and formal follow-up of action items identified in monthly review meetings. The implementation included training of facility teams on performance management requirements, maintenance of an access control matrix, and documented control checks and standard operating procedures to enforce consistency in measure definition and calculation. Day to day responsibilities supported by SAS Business Intelligence included preparation and validation of performance dashboards and reports for leadership, query resolution on measure definitions and data sources, preparation of data collection templates for target setting, organizing pre MOR calls to surface performance gaps and tracking closure of assigned actions. The narrative reflects a structured Analytics and BI deployment focused on reporting governance, data validation and cross functional collaboration between operations and technology teams. | |
