Thrivent Credit Union Banking and Financial Services 133 $17M United States Fiserv Fiserv Fedwire (formerly WireXchange) Treasury Management 2014 n/a In 2014, Thrivent Credit Union implemented Fiserv Fedwire (formerly WireXchange) as a Treasury Management solution to centralize wire payment processing and institutional funds transfer operations. The deployment was executed alongside a broader Fiserv portfolio rollout that included DNA account processing, Asset Liability Manager, Wisdom 5300 Call Report Assistant, the Accel payments network, and Fiserv solutions for item processing, card production, and debit processing. Fiserv Fedwire (formerly WireXchange) was configured to support standard Treasury Management capabilities such as wire origination, SWIFT and Fedwire message formatting, routing and settlement orchestration, automated reconciliation, and compliance screening workflows. Configuration work emphasized payment routing rules and posting logic to ensure end to end processing from payment initiation to ledger posting. The implementation integrated Fiserv Fedwire with DNA as the core account processing platform, with downstream linkages to Asset Liability Manager for balance and liquidity visibility and to Wisdom 5300 for call report support. Operational coverage targeted payments operations, treasury, accounting, and regulatory reporting functions within Thrivent Credit Union, enabling coordinated handoffs between the core ledger and external payment networks. Governance and ongoing optimization were structured through Fiserv professional services, which provided best practices reviews and annual health checks to maintain operational stability. Fiserv communicated that the suite, including DNA and Fiserv Fedwire, would help accelerate positive momentum and provide flexibility to adapt to changing member needs, and DNA received external recognition for product management and customer centricity from industry analysts.
