In 2015, Orbis Group implemented Infor SunSystems. The Infor SunSystems deployment targeted ERP Financial functions for fixed assets inventory and financial accounting across Orbis SA's hotel operations.
The project configured Infor SunSystems fixed assets modules and inventory workflows, embedding business logic for asset capitalization, depreciation scheduling, and physical inventory reconciliation. Mobile-enabled inventory capture and tailored tag handling were implemented to address the client's constraint of very small labels and the inability to paste tags, and to reduce manual entry errors in periodic inventories.
Integration work aligned the Infor SunSystems configuration with the business logic already defined in SUN and Profinn, preserving consistent financial postings and the fixed asset register across systems. The implementation covered Orbis SA managed properties within the Accor consortium, including hotels under the Sofitel, Novotel, Mercure, Ibis and Etap brands across Poland, the Czech Republic, Lithuania, Romania, Slovakia and Hungary.
Agilero, which had supported Orbis since 2009, led the implementation and ongoing support including adaptations for mobile operations. Governance changes emphasized standardized inventory processes to reduce errors, and in 2020 the implemented solution was adapted to operate on Android devices to better support on-site inventory workflows.
