The chatbot was integrated with SAP Business ByDesign through SAP Business Technology Platform to provide real-time order and shipment status lookups, tying conversational automation into core ERP records. Operational coverage centered on customer service workflows and the external order-status checking process, extending support availability beyond traditional office hours.

In 2016, OPO Oeschger implemented ATOS Bullion S as the SAP HANA platform under the Application Hosting and Computing Services category. The deployment was intended to provide a high-performance, in-memory processing layer to support OPO Oeschger AGs extensive web portal, its tens of thousands of catalogue items, multiple price lists and 24 hour delivery commitments across distribution and logistics operations.
The implementation used bullion S server infrastructure certified by SAP for RAM capacities from 512 GB to 16 TB, with SAP HANA installed to deliver real-time database processing, fast transactional performance and scalability. System configuration was staged across test, development and productive environments, and provisioned for operation in both OPOs primary and secondary data centres to support availability and operational continuity.
Atos provided the bullion S platform and lead technical integration, working in close cooperation with Agilita AG as the SAP integration partner and EMC for storage solutions. Atos specialists who certify bullion S systems at the SAP centre in Walldorf supported onsite installation activities in Zurich Switzerland and collaborated with OPOs IT team through joint workshops to define requirements and configure the end to end solution.
Governance and rollout combined client side IT ownership with Atos and partner delivery, using iterative workshops, phased testing and coordinated cutover to productive operations. According to OPO statements, the ATOS Bullion S SAP HANA implementation produced a scalable, reliable and robust platform that simplified routine operations and improved real-time processing capacity, with direct benefits called out for distribution, logistics and the internal IT services organization.
