Operational coverage extended to the sales organization and a global retail network, supporting a pre-order solution for about 2200 retailers in 25 countries and providing a single point of contact for retailers to view orders and availabilities. The cloud-centric architecture used SAP Business Technology Platform and SAP HANA Cloud to surface ERP data from SAP Business ByDesign into the cloud portal and Fiori interfaces, enabling automated workflows and ATP checks orchestrated by SAP Intelligent Robotic Process Automation.
Governance and rollout were informed by a design thinking workshop with Agilita and BMC personas, which shaped role-based access and prioritization rules for the retailer network. Process changes included centralized order visibility, automated enforcement of order limits to prevent oversales, and built in retail prioritization rules. Outcomes recorded in the project scope included automated processes and a modern user experience across Sales Admin, SalesRep and retailer roles, a single retailer contact point with order and availability overview, sales advisory capabilities tied to past revenue and trends, and an online catalogue with real-time ATP powered by SAP Intelligent Robotic Process Automation and the integrated SAP cloud components.
