Manufacturing 1200 $300M Germany SAP SAP ERP ECC 6.0 - Materials Management (MM) Inventory Management 2005
In 2005, Hans Kolb Wellpappe implemented SAP ERP ECC 6.0 - Materials Management (MM) in the Inventory Management category to formalize purchasing and inventory workflows across the group. The implementation positioned SAP ERP ECC 6.0 - Materials Management (MM) to manage purchasing, inventory management and paper disposition as core Inventory Management functions supporting packaging and corrugated cardboard production. The deployment included standard Materials Management modules configured for purchasing, goods receipt, and inventory valuation, with a bespoke paper disposition capability embedded in purchasing to manage roll and sheet stock procurement. SAP ERP ECC 6.0 - Materials Management (MM) was integrated into the company workflow alongside earlier SAP modules, where HR was productive since 1999 and FI, AA and CO became productive on February 1, 2006, creating a staged application footprint for finance and operational control. Technical architecture ran 208 named users on IBM xSeries servers using Linux and an Oracle database, and the MM implementation was linked to the existing order processing system to align procurement, paper disposition and production planning. The integration approach centralized master data for materials and suppliers, enabling coordinated purchasing across sites and supporting controlling processes for the group of companies. All for One Group served as the implementation partner for the rollout, which placed MM productive on May 1, 2006, and extended operational coverage to purchasing, inventory management and paper disposition teams. Customer-stated benefits included a reduction in inventories through the paper disposition solution and improved controlling across the group of companies, reflecting governance changes that centralized procurement decision support and inventory oversight.

Manufacturing 1200 $300M Germany SAP SAP R/3 HCM Core HR 1999
In 1999, Hans Kolb Corrugated Cardboard GmbH & Co. KG implemented SAP R/3 HCM. The deployment targeted Core HR functions and was executed with implementation support from All for One Group. SAP R/3 HCM was delivered as a phased rollout, with Level 1 covering HR productive in 1999, Level 2 delivering FI, AA and CO overheads into production on February 1, 2006, and Level 3 introducing MM for purchasing, inventory management and paper disposition into production on May 1, 2006. The runtime environment supports approximately 208 users on IBM xSeries servers running Linux with an Oracle database. Configuration work included a dedicated paper disposition capability embedded in purchasing to manage corrugating paper stock, and the project linked SAP R/3 HCM and its financial and materials modules to the companys order processing system to coordinate procurement and production inputs. Operational coverage spans human resources, finance, fixed assets, materials management and purchasing, centered on the Memmingen Germany site and used for controlling across the group of companies. Governance followed staged go live waves aligned to business function to enable functional ownership in HR, finance and purchasing and to enforce master data and process discipline. Customer reported benefits include a reduction in inventories through the paper disposition solution and improved controlling across the entire group of companies.
