In 2023, Bordeaux Airport deployed SAP BusinessObjects to centralize reporting across the airport company. Integration architecture focused on direct connectivity to ECC6 tables and periodic extracts, with data modeled into BusinessObjects universes to support finance, controlling, sales and distribution, procurement, plant maintenance, human resources, quality and project reporting.
Operational rollout concentrated on airport company finance and operations teams with Applium configuring security and user provisioning to align with SAP authorization models. Governance emphasized centralized report lifecycle management and version control inside SAP BusinessObjects to standardize reporting and enforce access controls across Bordeaux Airport business functions.
