Atelier Cambier implemented Odoo CRM in 2015. Atelier Cambier is an adapted enterprise based in Charleroi, Belgium that provides cleaning services, joinery, print services, packaging and related activities, and it operates with roughly 200 employees including 35 in administration and 165 in production. The implementation of Odoo CRM was intended to provide a unified CRM capability to support the company sales and customer management functions as part of a wider move away from file-based process management using Excel and Word.
Odoo Gold Partner BHC led the delivery after conducting a gap analysis derived from interviews with key users, producing a fixed price scope for the integration. The delivered solution included CRM, Human resources, Sales, Purchase, Project Management, and Accounting modules, with configuration tuned to the organization s adapted work environment. The project used Odoo CRM alongside these modules in a modular, phased rollout, enabling step by step adoption rather than a single big bang cutover.
Integrations were scoped to connect Odoo with existing payroll and external compliance services, specifically including an integration with the social secretariat as advised by BHC. Operational coverage extended across administration, HR, sales, procurement, accounting and project teams, with the system supporting transactional and operational workflows that touch production support functions. The implementation emphasized role and process alignment to accommodate users with physical or mental disabilities while centralizing master data and transactional records.
Governance and rollout relied on the gap analysis outputs and key user engagement to define requirements, fixed price deliverables, and phased deployment milestones. After go live the company reported fewer data re-encoding tasks, a reduction in errors and a direct time saving of approximately +/- 1 day per week of administration work. Atelier Cambier values Odoo CRM for its flexibility and modular approach, which allowed incremental expansion of functionality aligned to business needs.
